This Privacy Policy explains what information DriveFinder collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. DriveFinder is operated by Vicimus ("we," "us," "our"). By using DriveFinder, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use DriveFinder:

• Account information — your email address and a password (stored in encrypted form; we never store or have access to your plain-text password).
• Location — the city, state, or region you tell us, used to confirm DriveFinder is available in your area and to route your information to a relevant dealer.
• Conversation content — what you tell our AI assistant about the vehicle you're looking for, including make, model, color, and feature preferences.
• Build and delivery preferences — the vehicle you select, and choices you make about delivery vs. pickup and financing interest.
• Session cookies — used only to keep you signed in between visits. See "Cookies" below.

How we use this information

We use the information above to:

• Operate the chat assistant and generate the vehicle renders you see during your build, which are created using Google's Gemini AI service (see "Third parties" below).
• Match you against dealer inventory and route your information to the dealer carrying the vehicle you selected.
• Email you about your build, including a summary of your selection and next steps with the dealer.
• Determine whether DriveFinder currently operates in your area.
• Maintain your account so you can return and pick up a build in progress.

Who we share information with

We share information in these specific circumstances:

• Dealers. When you complete a build and submit your information, we share your contact details and vehicle preferences with the matched dealer so they can follow up with you. This is the core function of DriveFinder — connecting you with a dealer.
• Google (Gemini API). Your conversation text and vehicle specifications are sent to Google's Gemini AI service to power the chat assistant and generate vehicle renders. This processing is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies

DriveFinder uses a session cookie that's required for you to stay signed in. It does not track you across other websites. If we add advertising or analytics tools in the future that use additional cookies, we'll update this policy and our cookie notice accordingly.

Data retention

We keep your account and build information for as long as your account is active, so you can return to a build in progress or review past leads. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact information below.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or request that we delete it, by contacting us using the information below.

Children's privacy

DriveFinder is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
